In March of 2009 we were blessed with our third child, Israel David. He was born with congenital limb differences and micrognathia. This blog was started to share our journey with friends and family and anyone else who God brings our way. Our hope is to share our miracle with you...and as you read, that you will be blessed. Remember to always enjoy the miracles in your life!

Who needs a thumb anyway?
Israel just discovered that he can stick his arm in his mouth...and that it tastes quite goos as well! It's so cute, when he is hungry or tired he sicks his arm in his mouth and sucks on it...just like a thumb. Such a smart little baby he is!

He's so precious! I've been following your blog since the beginning, but never commented before. My husband and I work at GFA with Jon's brother, Steve, and I was pregnant when you were, although I was a number of weeks behind you. Our little girl was born May 26th. I feel like I know little Izzy. I really liked the picture of him on the beach in his shades, too. That was adorable!
When I had preschool, I had a little 4 yr. old boy. I never had to show him how to do anything. He figured it out for himself. When his parents enrolled him they said they never wanted him treated like he had a handicap. His father said everyone has handicaps-his just showed up more. Wanda
