So...who are you anyway?

Ok, so I am curious...who are you? I post on here...and there are obviously people who read it. Per the counter on my page which currently says 5267...which would probably be even higher if you all actually had to go to my page to read the posts. Since adding the e-mail option there has been a huge response of people who check our blog that way which doesn't count as a "hit" on my page...making that counter actually a lot lower then it would probably be. Non the less...I rarely get comments. And I am just curious...who are you? If you wouldn't mind, I would love for you to drop me a comment and tell me a little about YOU. It's only fair isn't it? I mean...you pretty much know my life story (well kind of, at least you know my current life story) and I would love to know you too. So I ask...Who are you? How did you hear about or find our blog? Do you have a blog I should check out? Anything else you want to share...feel free to leave that too :-)

***For those of you who read my blog simply by the e-mails...adding a comment is easy! Trust me! Just follow the steps below
Click on the link below or simply go to www.thejourneyofisrael.blogspot.com
At the bottom of this post there it says "Comments" Click on that word
It will bring you to a new page and on the right side there is a big box that says "Leave your comment" Type in there (Don't forget to put your name!)
When you are done, it says "Choose your identity" If you don't have a blogger account, click on the spot that says "Anonymous"
Then click "Publish your comment"
It's seriously that easy!

I am looking forward to meeting you!

Hello!! I just found your blog last week from Annachka's blog prayer request list. I am in Oregon and have added you to my daily prayers! What a journey you are on, and how wonderful to know that you are carried by God. Can't wait to "meet" baby Israel!

My name is Jenny and I am from Tulsa, OK. You don't know me and honestly I don't remember how I came across your blog. I know it was from another one...probably MCKMAMA's blog but who knows. It was a few months ago and as I read that first post I God laid it on my heart to keep your precious baby in my prayers. So...I usually check in with you every other day or so to see how things are going and if Israel is here yet! If you look at my blog you will see that I have a passion for children...I believe they are God's greatest most amazing creations ever...miracles! I will continue praying for precious Israel and the rest of your family as you continue the rest of your journey.

I am a 61 year old grandmother of 5 who feels incredibly fortunate to have wonderful children and funny, silly and intelligent grandchildren. I have spent the last 25 years working with special needs families mostly in the area of vocational counseling and providing support services. I found your site through the Hummels once I read your blog and the situation you have been facing I have been reading and praying for you. I am especially intrigued by the number of families that have been facing what seems to be unthinkable, life altering events in their lives. In some cases I have seen the hand of God working through the tragedy while my heart was wrenched and broken for them. Yet the same God I serve and believe in provided a measure of grace and peace and has used this tragedy to strengthen their faith and touch thousands of lives. There are others that are struggling with the trust factor and the why me syndrome. Some one pointed out to me that when Job was faced with his great losses he had to beleive that God had intrusted him with a family and wealth but only for a little while, no contract, no deadline when to return it but just a promise that as a shephard he would tend to his responsiblity knowing that he may be forced to let everything go if God said NOW is the time.

You have inspired me by your faith and your love for one another. This is where everything you believe will be like the rubber meeting the road. I am sure I am one of many who will be praying for you and your family and thank you for sharing you faith.

May God richly bless you and watch over you. I am praying for a miracle. Only God would intrust this special child to Shepards He knew would be good stewards of His Most Prize Possession.

Hmmm...who am I??? :) That is a good question. I am a grace-saved follower of Jesus Christ. I am an army wife and mom. I am a friend who loves our late night Applebee runs. I've known you for at least 11 years! (wow that's crazy) Who am I?

Hi Becca, You know me from church. I get an email of your blog and have visited your site a few times too. It is such an honor to be able to partner with God when we ask great things of Him. That's the way I feel when ever I pray for Israel. I know that He has such awesome plans for Israel's life and I can't wait to see them unfold. Sherri Brubaker

Hi Becca,

My name is Erika and I live in the same city as Greg Eck. He introduced us to your family and your current situation and asked us to pray...so I have been. You have an adorable little family and it's encouraging to "see" your faith in the journey of Israel. Your trust and hope in Jesus is so honoring to Him! We're looking forward to the good news soon.

Hi- I found your blog through the Hummel family blog, who I found through a cousin when their nephew Bryson had his accident. Anyway, I guess you would be curious to know who in the world is reading about you! I live in Ohio and 3 little ones 7,5, and 2. Such blessings. I do not have a blog- just enjoy reading others. Blessings to you and the precious one you are carrying!

Hi Becca,

I know your mom from bunco and we used to live near each other at one point near Faye Wright. Both our families have moved. I found out from bunco ladies in contact with your mom. I have been praying for a safe delivery. We serve an awesome God! Mary

Hi. I don't know you, but your words are beautiful! I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my first baby and last week I received the devastating news that my baby is showing signs of micronathia. The doctors are encouraging us to continue with tests to look for any other abnormalities. Thankfully so far, it is only the micronathia. I just pray that this baby will be healthy, and no matter what, my husband and I will love him every day! When we first heard of the news, I will have to admit, I had a terrible thought of "what will we do? how can we care for this baby?" Then I felt some strong kicks and nudges from our little guy (basically saying UMM...HELLO, MOM I'M STILL HERE!!)I thank you for your wonderful words of wisdom and thank you for being brave in posting your family's struggles. This is the first I've been able to find of pictures, and stories on micronathia.

Many Blessings, Maggie
