In March of 2009 we were blessed with our third child, Israel David. He was born with congenital limb differences and micrognathia. This blog was started to share our journey with friends and family and anyone else who God brings our way. Our hope is to share our miracle with you...and as you read, that you will be blessed. Remember to always enjoy the miracles in your life!

Happy 4th of July (A little late I know)
We went camping for the 4th of July, as we do every year. However this year seemed to be the most fun we have ever had! Israel was old enough to really enjoy everything we did (Minus the freezing river water)! Plus he was able to go without taking a nap and stay up later than normal without falling apart! It was glorious! We spent our time...
Playing in the dirt
Taking hikes and GeoCaching...Izzy LOVES the Beco (And SO do I)
Having necessary potty time (Very thankful for travel potty chairs!)
Sleeping in very warm sleeping bags
Together as a family

Beautiful Boy ~ 2 Years Old
I got some lovely photos of Israel done for his 2 year old pictures and I wanted to share them all with you. (He turned 2 in March, I got the pictures done in May, and I am finally sharing them in July...if that tells you anything about how busy life has been!)

BIG at Shriner's
Ok...so I have always known Izzy was beautiful and deserving of being famous (Just kidding...kind of)...but it's a whole other thing to have someone or something else acknowledge it too! Everywhere I go people tell me how precious, sweet, handsome, cute, darling, beautiful (and on and on) that Izzy is. And I love it. But I often wonder if people are just saying it because they don't know what else to say because they are in such shock and awe of how different he is. But I know this is NOT the case with anyone who really knows Izzy...and that it is also not the case with Shriner's Hospital. I've written many times about Shriner's and how amazing they are...so it's no surprise that I am writing about them again. Only this time...it is to share some BIG news. After Izzy was on the Christmas card, on their magazine and being honored at the dedication of the new building...he started to become famous around there. Different staff know him by name even. And now he is even MORE famous in a BIG way! A BIG picture of his beautiful little self is hanging on the wall in the main hallway. What an honor and a blessing to be such a huge part of something so amazing like Shriner's.
